It is quite simple really
You’re warm like woolen tapestry
Each strand of your hair
Weaving in and out to a rhythm
That only the ocean knows
The sighing breath in your chest
Drifting from your mouth-
The curve, the quick wit upon it.
One day, perhaps it will be
That we will breathe the same air.
One day, perhaps it will be
That we will watch the same sunset.
For now, it is a fleeting dream-
One from which I loathe to awake!
No longer a specter in my mind,
and longer a phantom behind a veil.
You haunt me like spell cast,
One I do not ever wish to be broken.
