The Calling

You call to me from afar

Whispering to the wind and the stars

They remind me where I need to be

Praying unto thee, the great open Sea

I follow the Moon like Brother Turtle

And coming upon your sand, the last vestige of land

All fear drops away and I begin to pray

As I come to the Great Divide, I feel you by my side

You whisper in my ear and I solemnly hear

"Come closer baby, come closer" and I begin to tear

Not out of fear, but of overwhelming cheer

I settle and I breathe, always following your lead

The rhythm of your waves is a rhythm that paves

The calmness in me so that I can see how to Be

I open Sacred Space to honor this place and I feel your Grace

You teach me what I need to know so that I can grow

You whisper, "Let it flow"

"Center it"

"This is how we heal. This is why we meditate"

You remind me that I need to create

Because each day is a clean slate

Like your waters wipe the sands

Our healing is in our own hands

Remember to pray and to Accord with the Way

Let it flow.... Center it....
