Yellow

I love yellow.

Yellow is me.

My yellow though not mellow.

It shines though.

Its radiant flows from the sun

Through my gentle dermis

Rest as it lay it vitamin D on, in, and through me.

Enriches my melanated skin back to its darkest shade.

There is a kiss of it that coats me consistently

Imprints adding glistening from the perspiration

The heat is throwing.

My skin goes dark

My hairs lighten

Shades reverse

But it the energy I'm still consuming.

I take on as much solar energy as I can

For I need it as a reserve cause I'm only human

Strangely something so bright will have a dark side

(my reserves)

Just like the sun when shining I don’t care who I am blinding

I'm here for results for growth

I can't help being florescent Yellow

For if I start to shallow for others soul

I'll be in the shadow where no oxygen flows

And there my light will surely dwindle down so low

You can't pretend you don’t want to win.

I promise never break but for love.

No more hiding a brightness I always miss when

I can't give out genuine love.

This next statement is so true

Even truer than the rest I just gave to you

I don’t want to lose it, because it means the dark is where I have to find it

It's not a walk in the park

I've been in that park, so dark I went away, far

I'll take a stand

Because I rather illuminate then to suffocate

For me being yellow is great.

But that’s just one color I am

Purple is my gait

Blue is my truth

Green is my nature, for I am Mother Nature the Creator

Brown for the ground, solid and full of life

Red for the living, and to remember the dead

Black for my people, and for the Raven, the Crow and the Eagle

And YELLOW for me though it my personal realty it personifies me
