YELLOW BIRDS

By : Donald Meighan

By Donald MeighanPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I am a yellow bird.

“Handsome and charming, cool as a cucumber,” my bird friends say.

I am a suave yellow bird.

Amongst the plethora of wingged things.

I am a high soaring yellow bird.

There are brown birds, white birds, black birds, the orange ones and reds.

I am an educated yellow bird.

I always help my fellow birds, no matter the color or sex.

I am a friendly yellow bird.

I do not have many yellow bird friends though, but bird friends I do have!

I am a happy yellow bird.

I have noticed lately my fellow yellow birds, are being targeted and bullied.

I am a sad yellow bird.

I try to help, but geez what’s the use, for I am just one little yellow bird.

I am a hopeless yellow bird.

I insist and persist to bring peace between all my little bird friends.

I am a brave yellow bird.

My fight for bird equality is unmatched against the hatred to us little yellow birds.

I am an angry yellow bird.

My courageous fight for bird fairness will be my greatest accomplishment.

I am a triumphant yellow bird.

Now we all treat each other with the same bird love and respect.

I am a proclaimed yellow bird.

One of thousands, with the fearlessness of millions.

I am... a yellow bird.
