Yellow and Black

V8

By James GreenPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Yellow and black, next to an A.

A bee came along. What a curious day.

It flew around a box that was larger than large.

A toe on a foot. Cheesecake, fromage.

It flew right in to see what's inside. Maybe a flower it could rest on. Reside.

It flew swiftly out. Danger! Perhaps. Maybe nothing in the box for the bee to relax.

The carpenter carried on, chipping away, paying no attention to the bee who flew swiftly away.

He reached into his box in search of a tool. His hand glued inside, he found something new.

A jar small in size, tiny, some would say, full of honey with a note from a mason. Dismay.
