So Feels like Near

Yearning Love

In the quiet hours of the night,
I dream of you, my heart takes flight,
A love so near, yet far away,
In longing, I wait for the day.

I feel your presence in the breeze,
A ghostly touch that brings me peace,
But still, I yearn for something real,
A love that time and space can’t steal.

Your voice, your eyes, I hold them close,
In memories where my heart grows,
But yearning fills the empty space,
Where once I hoped to see your face.

Each day, the longing stronger grows,
Like rivers pulled to where wind blows,
Yearning love, so deep, so true,
Forever I'll be drawn to you.
