Summer is my favorite season

Sun is shining super bright

I was out with friends

Running through the apartment complex

Ding-dong ditch was our game

Primarily never really got caught

Now it was burning up

Hot as a stove outside

Going to sleep at home

I'm yawning as we speak

While walking through a breezeway

I peeped something up top

Yellow and black with stingers

It was two deadly yellowjackets

I ran for my life

But before I knew it

Got stung in the back

Pain shooting all through me

No help, couldn't get up

Great way to end summer
