Writing Poetry

Writing poetry makes me feel like a little child.

With words I love to play.

Poetry has so much to say.

There is so much you can do with poetry.

Poetry can take you to places far away.

Poetry can let you tell people what you want to say.

Poetry can teach, make people think, or change their moods.

Writing Poetry can even be rude.

If that is what you want to say.

There may be a price to pay.

Poetry is so much fun to write.

I love to write it all day and all night.

Poetry makes my heart sing.

Because of the love poetry brings.

Poetry makes me feel like a child.
