Fighting for what's right,
I shine my light,
Illuminating my sight,
A witness to the blight.
What truly is right?
Why must I fight?
Exhausted by night,
Witnessing the light,
What does right feel like?
Hiking through the night,
Fighting doing things I like,
Spikes pierce my light.
I don't feel alright,
Hope is holding the light,
No longer will I fight,
I surrender to the night.
Right now a dim light,
Is hidden from sight,
Until the time is right,
And darkness finds my light.
Right into its core,
Soaring through the night,
Brighter than before,
Shining,
Fighting no more.
