Writers Need Earning, Not Antidepressants
Will the society see teh real problem and fix it the right way?

It's easy to be depressed,
Who wouldn't be?
Writing is a noble act,
and you get pittance.
On Medium, you pay $15,
and get a ridiculous $30.
On Vocal Media, you pay $10,
and get $3 or so.
On Amazon KDP, after 8 books,
my earnings have not crossed $12.
Substack is $0.
The followers, subscribers,
likes, claps — mean nothing,
they are just distractions,
useless vanity symbols.
The world operates on bills
and we need money.
It's easy to be depressed.
How can we go on,
writing, reading, engaging,
with such meager returns?
Depression is common.
My writing is worth nothing?
It's easy to feel down.
But whatever the situation,
medication for depression,
is never the true solution.
Find the root cause.
Provide solutions to people.
Don’t peddle your big pharma
antidepressants blindly,
it's evil, and anti-social.

Such a beautiful poem you have written, good luck.
Pills create a dependence; writing makes one's mind independent.
