Writer's Block

Was it really writer's block if I wrote this poem?

They say your thoughts never stop

Yet here I am at a treacherous loss

No path for my thoughts

Just an empty, blank, black space

Begging to be filled with any word,

any emotion

Reaching for even just a glimpse of one

I’d even cry if i could

But now nothing feels right

And so I don't write

My mind is at a stand still

Not even at a cross of roads,

At least then I’d have options

I wrote this poem just before the last time that my creative tank ran out. But now that my tank is full, and ready to go, I decided to share this with you.

I'm almost finished writing a short story that could turn into a series--though maybe it won't. It should be posted soon! Stay tuned! K, love you, bye! ;) -J
