I woke to you watching me.

"Wrapped up in bed, like a virtual Burrito," you said.

I said, "What?"

*

You smiled that smile at me and said:

"I tried to wake you last night.

I wanted to make love,

but I couldn't get to you.

You were wrapped up so tight

in our sheets and blanket,

like a double-wrapped Burrito..."

*

I said, "Oh, I see."

You smiled that smile again.

I asked, "Would you like to make love now?"

"Maybe later," you answered, then saying:

"Actually, for some strange reason, I'm starving.

And there is this place on the corner

that serves a fantastic Breakfast Burrito."

*

We both have Breakfast Burritos that morning.

And you were so right.

The double-wrapped one was fantastic.
