Wounds

In your flesh, in your soul,

when this obscure dream comes,

fever invades you, nothing reassures you.

Deep down, a tiny flame burns.

Like the sound of a mosquito

or teeth chattering,

the clock ticking,

it drives you mad, hysterical.

A kind soul can begin

to heal and repair your heart,

erase all your woes,

or simply listen to you.

But time will come to help you,

as it always does,

transforming your sorrows into joy

so that you can love.

He'll make sure it lasts

throughout your life,

and when you smile at him,

he'll gradually erase your wounds.
