"Would You?"

A poem

Will I ever see a glacier? A pyramid?

A grand, colossal face emerging from the grass,

Will I ever dance in an endless meadow?

Or stroll through a foreign city at night?

If I ever had the might, I would just pack up and go

Across oceans and borders,

to be met with the edge of the world,

Would you meet me there?

Could we laugh and dance and dream?

Counting constellations in the dark,

Could we dream while awake?

Could we bend and not break?
