Worry be gone!

a little free-verse encouragement to those who worry often

Laugh, Laugh

In life we gotta laugh

We get caught up with our issues often and worry

Never realising we’re not alone in this

Life is magnanimous and abundant with wonders and worries

Somewhere out there there’s bound to be someone in the same situation

Worried about the implication of certain things

And how they affect them

Feeling the world heavy on their shoulders

Like boulders pressing down relentlessly

Feeling their chest pressured endlessly

Feeling the pressure tremendously

But why worry?

What will happen, will happen. Regardless of your interference

So try and do your best at all times

But if things go wrong, there’s no point in perseverance

In sadness or worry

Pick yourself up and head out to the next step

In life, whether it’s good or bad, just don’t be swept

In the worry cycle that’s never ending, nor everlasting

Contradicting, I know.

But it all depends on the mind set:

The cycle will never end if left alone

You need to open your eyes on your own

So it can never last, the worry that’s grown

In your mind.

-

If you ever worry, look up at the sky and ponder

Just how many planets and stars are out there and wonder

Just how small the worry is in comparison

So your precious time don’t squander

Worrying.
