Foolish was I when I lost my job

Not the only heartache to bear

Fellowship of work friends, gone.

Friends so easily said,

”We’ll be there for you. “

”We’ll keep in touch.”

Calls dwindle

Until,

None.

Rulam Day

In another life I was a pirate, a race car driver, and a spy. But those are stories for another time. Rulam Day is an anagram of my name, Mary Daul. I publish under both.
