An Unwieldy Cavalcade

By Eugene C. ScottPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Words

Scrabble over fissures

Clog my sluggish brain

Mercenary, Courageous, and Profane

Words

Shape serpentine ranks

Fervent to strike

Persuasive, Picturesque, and Warlike

Words

Stutter and stammer

Upon a tale to tell

Translucent, Oblique, and Feral

Words

Quiver on the verge

Children on a beach

Befuddled, Sand-salted Figures of speech

Words

Expectant of expression

Onto parchment blank

Ubiquitous, Rambunctious, and Frank

Words

Hear a whistle shrill

With wing and prayer

Rumble, Stumble, and Without-a-care

Spill into the crevasse

In tandem freefall

Buoyant, Confidant, and Wherewithal

Words

Launch into thick air

No proper clothes to wear

Grasping, Flapping, and Disappear
