A Poem a day
Keeps the doctor a way.
Though I suppose that is not what sane people say.
But what good is an apple,
When doctors can’t prove a soul?
Perhaps I am mad,
After all.
Though I hear all the best people are.
How funny it is that words stick within
My head.
Yet I still lack the function to get anywhere.
Cause I may have all the words,
And shiny new sentences.
Yet I have no stage presence.
Not a charm in my smile,
Nor trick up my sleeve.
I leave my heart open,
All teared at the seams.

This idea is so fresh! I’m gonna start saying a poem a day keeps the doctor away. Was this an entry for the tattoo this line challenge? Because I would totally tat that line on me!
