Hello there. I am talking to you.

Yes, you, in the back of the room.

Hi there. How are you?

I’m glad you are here and I am sorry you feel so blue.

It is no secret the world is brutal and filled with discouraging news.

But I want to help, so please, if you would be so kind, let me share my truth.

I understand if you don't have time or if you think my words are lame.

After all, a million people tried to reach you, or maybe none at all has tried to understand your pain.

I don’t know what you are dealing with, I am not as bold as to make that claim.

However, I can offer words of encouragement because, I know life is hard to sustain.

So, listen close and here goes my 5 best shots to lift you up.

1. I can promise today and always, you are always enough.

2. Be not afraid of the unknown, even when you are unsure which way to go; the destination is not essential as long as you're willing to grow.

3. Start to believe things can improve, especially if you have been to the world's edge with nothing to lose. Maybe next time instead, when on the world's edge, choose to admire the views.

4. Don’t be too hard on yourself. You are unique like nobody else.

5. Lastly, don't be afraid to make mistakes.

Trust me when I say, you are not alone and it is Okay, Not Being Okay.
