Words not said―Epistole

Little Letter for a Future Better

By Matt B.Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Words not said

Are thoughts not thought

You’re the same

Though I’ve changed a lot

And if something life has taught

Is I ought to let you go

For to love you is to love a rose

Trying to forget its thorns

Hoping the poison algo goes

But your lips are those of rattlesnake

And your skin, from distance, cold as ice

I don’t think that I, caring for you, could change

Whatever your heart desires; I guess it’s for best.

So much left to be said,

Frustration, connection,.. Anyways,

This is a farewell.
