Words from my heart...

I am not bothered about how educated you are,

What title you might have acclaimed.

I don’t care how much money you have made,

Or the vast popularity you may have gained.

I want to know you are honest,

That you can courageously live and speak your truth.

I yearn to feel your raw authenticity,

In all of its colours - shades, tones and hues.

I have no attention for your hierarchy,

How you assume more importance than others.

Neither do I want to hear your cold, harsh judgement

Of your fellow humans, sisters and brothers.

I wish to observe your acts of kindness,

The compassion you hold within your heart.

Being aware there is a much bigger picture,

Of which we are all, just a part.

I’m not fussed about your spiritual qualifications

If you deny the existence of shadow.

Even if you can speak multiple languages of light,

It makes no difference if it’s all you know.

I want to see that you can dive deep into your own darkness,

To be brave enough to face your demons.

That you can accept every single aspect of your wholeness,

Travel through the emotional seasons.

I am not impressed by your talents and skills

If you use them for unethical purpose.

Should you harness your strengths to inflict harm

I have no interest in your misguided circus.

I would rather watch you share your imperfections,

Your naked vulnerability, admitting your own strife.

But still being willing to offer a hand of friendship,

To try to assist another with the game of life.

I would genuinely love for you to express your passions,

Sensing how much they ignite the fire of your soul.

Enjoying how our energies can dance together,

Without a specific destination of a goal.

Allowing the magical bounce between connecting sparks,

As our frequencies play within this space.

Inviting mystery, opening realms of possibility,

Until we part with a warm embrace.

Even though we will encounter many different challenges,

By standing strong together, we can rise above.

In truth, there is nothing that really matters more

Than our capacity…

…to give…

……to receive…

………and to be…

…….……LOVE.
