1 Kings 8:28 NIrV
But please pay attention to my prayer. LORD my God, be ready to help me as I make my appeal to you. Listen to my cry for help. Hear the prayer I’m praying to you today.
Words fail me
I don’t know
What to say
But he hears my
Utterance
Quiet words
A need to pray!

When the words
Don’t come
I just rest
In that place
Of prayer,
Silent pleas
Words of Grace!

It may seem
Easy for some
To look and say
Enough
I don’t understand
A place of lost grace
But even in the questions
Leaning on his Grace
His love
Is the best place!
So I’ll lift
My voice
Even when
The words don’t come
Sing praises
Even when it
Feels as if
Hearts are breaking!

You words are like a canvas painted to perfection. Meaningful and strong.
Prayer can be tough when words fail. I've been there. But even in silence, resting in that place of prayer can bring comfort. Keep at it.
