I beg and plead with Mom. We got to get the hell out of this apartment. And much to my surprise, she actually agreed with me.

“I know sweetie, I hate it here as much as you do.” Well this was great. Now that I know how Mom is feeling, we’re all on the same page.

I start reminiscing on the times we had in this apartment. We had good times, but they were heavily overshadowed by the bad times.

And our landlord was just a real piece of work, and I’m just so glad we’re getting away from him.
