Wood smoke and rain

Revoke my pain

By Wild MacroLove Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Wood smoke and rain

Revoke my pain

Soak in through the layers and shadows to cleanse and feed my hungry soul once again

Fragrance of earth and fire

Entrance my mind to enquire

Seep in through the fog of thoughts to lift and transmute the heavy ones and the liars

Wood smoke and rain

Evoke my spirit from refrain

Invoke faded childhood memories of joy to remind it it’s free and not to be tamed

Sensations of crackling warmth and trickling cool

Reawaken my earthly body to divine rule

Seduce its senses and remind it why it’s alive to house my infinite soul as an earthly tool

Wood smoke and rain

Elope with my heart and the love that remains

Enchant it with hope that my dreams of true romance and joy are not in vain

Mother Earth and Father Sky

Smother my doubts because they lie

Nourish and heal my entire being and lift it up so high I might fly

Encircle and cleanse it with wood smoke and rain

Wipe my slate clean so I can start again

Bring back the lost and frozen pieces of my soul to thaw and cleanse the past pain

Clear my mind of the encoded lies for the truth to retrain

Free my spirit to see the bigger picture in this earthly plane

Ground my body to Earth so strength can be regained

Revive my heart to beat with love once again

Wood smoke and rain,

Birdsong, rivers, sunbeams and untouched forests that remain

Infuse me with your magic so I can embrace this existence and revoke my pain
