Wondering and Wanderings

a poem

Did you ever just wonder and wander?

Wondering where to wander?

Wondering a place to go whether

for real or just to imagine.

Wandering for a place to go where you

can be just you and you alone.

Wondering who you are for you or

for some others.

Wandering whether north or south; east or west;

or going in a different direction say

south by southeast or southwest or

north by northeast or northwest.

Looking for direction and wondering

are you doing it for you or still doing for others.

Wondering for answers that may never come--

full of questions but answers are slow in coming.

Wondering in my own little world of just me

wandering around not quite aimless, but with a focus

that nobody seems to understand or wants to understand,

alone I am on my journey of fulfillment that I have found in

my wonderings and wanderings.
