On my way to freedom I met a wonderful composer. Yes one of the last left.
The tone of his voice was as that of the freedom birds.
He talk so much of freedom
The visions of the open, the wonders of the stars.
Born of royalty but yet a commoner.
Born to lead , yet rejects his duty.
A lover of the open, committed to solitude.
The marvelous preacher of negritude.
Dreaded in appearance, not weird as the mask he wore . A gem he was , fine gold that could not be traded cheaply.

Every day I set myself down on the freshly cut lawn and strip myself bare. I take my guitar and finger the frets and pick at the strings, listening for dissonance. My life is dissonance. I twist the tuning pegs until each string sounds bright. Then I kneel, calves pointing behind me, kneecaps facing forward. All exposed to the breeze. I close my eyes and play the melody.

Most recently seen in the Wonder Man series, the current incarnation of Damage Control seems to target superpowered individuals, regardless of whether that person poses an active or intentional threat.
