I am who I am

By Zan DrakiPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I am who I am, and you will not decide if you love me or hate me if I said I would not change me.

Since I was born, you put me in the cage and asked me to cut my wings because you think I am too week to fly alone.

You decide to give birth to me, but you cannot determine my destiny.

You asked me to be perfect, a perfect daughter, wife, and mother; you ask me to forget who I am.

I put a mask of your likes while killing my spirit. But now you cannot hold my soul which is despite to fly.

I will spread my wings to fly because it is my body, my soul. You will not tell me if I am size zero or size 15; you do not have size for my soul.

I will choose if I have sex before marriage or after marriage or outside marriage, to have sex with you or another man or a woman or both.

My love is my pleasure. It is not your privilege.

Wearing your ring in my left hand or adding your surname in my name will not allow you to doubt my integrity. It is my choice.

Now it time for me to spread my wings and fly, and now you have an option if you want to be with me or not,

This is who I am, and I am a free soul, an entire universe which is infinite…
