Wolves in sheep’s clothing

Guess who’s coming for dinner?

There is a voice that doesn’t use words. And a heart that hears all things unsaid.

Be careful who you lend your ear to. Not all smiles come from a friend

*

When you need to release what you’re thinking, be conscious of who is around.

In the moment the words leave your being, is the time loyalty comes unwound

*

I hate to sound bold and unforgiving, But experience has taught me some things

People aren’t always who they are selling You’d be better off cutting some strings

*

Just be warned that not all words have structure. A few have been known to have feet.

They run all around Spinning yarn by the pound and you're the one called indiscreet

*

Keep your secrets all tied up and protected There are wolves in sheep’s clothes all around

Sniffing out looking for weakness to bare. Ready to bloody the ground

*

Oh, sure their smiles are alluring and the praises they’ve laid on you are thick

But let me tell you a secret: They’re preparing a meal, and your it!!
