Wolf

The Hunger Within Me

By Kyle HulbertPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

There is a Wolf that lurks beneath the surface,

Always stalking and keen to its purpose.

It's a primal ferocity barely kept in check,

It's commanding instinct -- go straight for your neck.

When I watch you with sharp eyes that adore,

It's there, the ravenous Wolf at your door.

Impatiently it waits, watching through my eyes,

Eager to be free of its human guise.

When I lay claws upon you, I unleash the Beast;

Fang and fury, you are my feast.

You give yourself up to my feral power,

Knowing only one thing -- it's you I will devour.
