With Fatigue And Dreams

Body on a natural clock

Wakes me up early

Even when I want to stay asleep

I am so tired

Or maybe fatigue

Is this burnout?

Already!

A little too early

Not enough energy

The sun is my worst enemy

Sleep or stay awake is not my decision to make

For He knows what’s best for me

There’s a reason for everything, you’ll see

Now I have time to write my heart free

And not overthink about how everything will come to be

A chance to live out my dreams

I have a natural clock too and sometimes I just wish it could go back to sleep. Great poem, Emily!

Literally me everyday! :) His timing is always better than our own. If not now, then when?

  • I know the feeling, sometimes I want to just stay in my dreamland
