Without You

Absence of color

Without you, the world is dull and grey.

The sun is shining softly, radiating off of hues and black and white.

No longer will a teacher ask a child his/her favorite color. There are none that exist.

Without you, the world is a different place.

Does art cease to exist?

Would we find a new normal, or did we never know color existed to begin with?

If all color was gone would there still be discrimination over pigments in our skin?

Elimination of every shade

No burnt orange, and yellow leaves falling from the trees each autumn.

No multicolored flowers popping up into the newly grown green grass after the winter snow melts away.

Looking out the window to see the sky is no longer blue.

No rainbow after the rain.

Without you, the world is dull and grey.
