Withering Heights

#6 of 6 FINALLY!!! Ugh!!! Is anyone else writing two more poems and a story, all at the same time? How are you all coping with the deadlines? I am drunk with words and staggering! Luna Jordan, if you are reading this, I know I did not take my own advice, in fact… write 50 stories at the same time, I am all for it now. I will leave a link of the poem of hers I am loving. Hers is winter while I am still stuck in autumn. Enjoy! ♥️

Very timely reminder of hope in the changing of seasons.

You’ve captured the paradox of endings and beginnings beautifully here. “Winter heals with hope” is a line that lingers.

The transformative lessons of nature... I never hated winter until I moved further away from the equator. Necessities. I'm not built for cold climates, but I can 'heat-seek' beautiful sentiment in poignant poems, and I definitely felt a tingle here.

    Unique and inspiring, Caitlin.

  • Oh wow, the leaf withers with time bit winter heals with hope, that felt so reassuring. As if to say even if things seem bad now, it'll get better. So positive and beautiful. Loved your photo and poem!

I really like this one, Wuthering Heights was one of my favorite books growing up, so the title really grabbed my attention. I enjoy how you turned winter into a beautiful thing, it is true, the buds on the trees start showing in winter, you just have to look real close. That is what hope is! There are so many challenges! I am loving how they spark my creativity in ways that I never experienced before. I feel such a creative surge after not writing for many years that I am way ahead of deadlines as it currently stands.

Wow, Caitlin, I applaud you for being able to keep up a pace like this...I'm in school so that's enough writing for me to make myself do daily 🤣 Just make sure you don't lose your spark by forcing yourself to produce something ❤️😁✨☀️🌙 best wishes for you ~

  • Wonderful few words, I am doing one challenge a day, plus other stuff, but I tend to publish two or three stories a day
