Wishes And Fairytales

Sensory Poem

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I never knew the taste of forever, until you kissed my mouth

The excitement roared like the migration of 10,000 monarchs heading South

The smell of sweet surrender floated softly in the breeze

Your touch was like an earthquake that swiftly brought me to my knees

I never thought I’d live to see such beauty on display, until you came along and brightened every corner of my day
