Everything has fallen asleep
Once so vibrant and filled with color,
They're now stilled by something other.
The landscape experiences fleeting death
Like that of a frozen heart
Hopeful that everything will restart
Animals gather and prepare
They sleep or they thrive
In a world that seems so unalive
But where one snowflake breaks,
Another will form
The cycle continues until all becomes warm
The silence of ice
The stillness of trees
The feel of an active, beautiful breeze
If this world can awaken
From something so still
Then a heart can too once again fill
Everything's asleep
And beauty's around
In a frozen world that makes
One finally feel found
