Winter's Wave

a frosty hello

Fragile ice clings to the green below,

Reacting to frigid air as the cold begins to grow.

Opalescent as the sun finds its gaze,

Silence as Winter’s season enters her phase.

Tested by frost as we say our hellos,

Etches of art within the meadows.

Don’t take for granted the beauty handed.

.

Wilted leaves stuck, frozen in time,

Always assured, the frosty winds will whine.

Vibrant hues of light as dawn begins to soften,

Ensured that this phase is promised to occur more often.

Snow will come, and frost to start, knowing Ms. Winter will embrace our jolly, open hearts.
