Winter magic

Nature puts on its white coat.

Some animals have a lot of hope.

The shivering bird packs its bag

and heads off to face the jet lag.

 Daylight caresses the frozen fields

that light up like thousands of stars,

and in an ocean of thoughts, we unveil

a constellation that becomes the Grail.

 The oaks and willows are weeping

before falling asleep in the night.

The forest of Christmas trees is smiling,

and gardens that make us happy are white.

 The morning dawns and the birds are leaving,

and the fields shine like a cloudless evening.

Some trees are naked and sleeping deeply;

others have found the magic of destiny.
