Winter Breeze

The cold is here

The winters breath chills the earth,

And the world was wrapped in a frozen cloak,

The frosted ground’s screaming out,

Causing a longing to free me from this dream.

/

Escaping the hold of the icy grip,

I beg for warmth, and a warm embrace,

For my heart to thaw and find it's way,

Bringing forth life and praying the warmth will stay.
