The winds of my

heart dance

like saucy ribbons

across my mind and

for a brief moment

I get swept away

by the hidden " what if" s

prancing around with

deliberate pomposity

scattering wisps of whimsy

onto the plains of the winds

of my heart as if

what I wish for

could come

to be

then the rain comes

rivulets of river rain down

my face

and my hair becomes

a waterfall

a rousing flood of

sensations

pouring over

a soul

meant

to be

shared.
