Red blush in sky
Mirrors my fear
Mote in my eye
Begets molten tear
A pain of glass
A shard of lonely
Here above
Looking down
Wanting more
Dreaming only
There below
A plethora of life
In my ivory tower
Only strife
Where are you?
Please
If you come
I’ll let down my hair
Descend this lonely height
Stair by wending stair
No matter agony
Of feet sorely misused
With your hand in mine
Our love not misconstrued
But you locked my heart away
In a shining heavenly cage
Where I can but watch
Life go by
On a visual stage

To watch life go by just visually and not experiencing it is so sad. Your poem was so deep!
