We should stand united
Clearly the world is divided
Faith suffers slings and arrows
Those who believe the margin is narrow
Tolerance is a burden we must all bare
Although hate is the burden we all share
Our world seems to be in a time with no equal
As we strain to understand the will of the people
So much rhetoric trying hard to diminish the light
People are so riled up and unclear on who to fight
In the darkness some stoke what many call sin while the enemy to confront lies within
The pace and pulse of this life is like a pot stirred with hate and strife
Some who speak out are left out on a limb
If Christ walked the earth today some would say crucify him again
Unprecedented are the cries that fool everyone
When we know there is nothing new under the sun
It is said his word does not change that is our clue
The will of the people are divided on that too
With faith we can not go wrong lean on it to help keep you strong
Hate and love are rivals without equal
It is the heart that shows us the will of the people
