I want to be an oak tree

Standing proud and tall.

I'll be green in Summer

Yellow in the Fall.

I want to be a lion

Lying in the sun,

Roar in mighty anger,

Chase the deer for fun.

I want to be the ocean

Shifting with the tide.

Flowing to forever

With each wave I ride.

I want to be a rainstorm

Falling to the ground.

Tapping on concrete,

Making so much sound.

I want to be an eagle

Soaring through the air.

Flying is freedom,

Life without a care.

Why would I be human?

What is mankind worth?

Poverty, pollution...

One day we'll kill the Earth.
