In the shadow of war, innocence fades,
Lives extinguished, lost in the cascade.
Mothers weep softly, while wives sit in pain,
As questions linger, like echoes of rain.
Why does the heavens permit such despair?
We all yearn for peace, yet violence fills the air.
In these troubled times, where hope feels so thin,
It’s love and compassion that must rise within.
Though shadows may linger and hearts feel the strain,
We'll rise from the ashes, rebuild once again.
For even in darkness, a spark can ignite,
A flame of resilience that shines through the night.
So let us unite, for together we stand,
With love as our weapon, and hope in our hands.
In a world full of chaos, let kindness be our guide,
For peace is the victory that love can provide.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
