Why the Disconnect? Decoding the "Floor" of Communication
Exploring the Unspoken Language of Connection and Misunderstanding
In communication, there exist individuals who grasp our messages instantly, yet we cannot connect with certain people no matter what we express. Does this describe any of your experiences?
Individuals who operate on the same communication level as you need minimal explanation because they immediately understand you. Table tennis comparably represents the conversations that arise between these people without complications. The connection between you runs effortlessly, and you understand one another through unspoken means.
Social position does not matter in this matter because everyone exists on their own floor.
Living in a building explains this experience best. Such people function as floor neighbors who understand you immediately. When speaking, confide naturally because you just need to open your doorway for connection. Conversation requires no complicated explanations to make sense. They understand you immediately. The feeling of connecting with familiar friends emerges naturally, and silence creates acceptance between us.
Does the level of the floor where someone resides make a difference?
Consider being located on the fifth floor while they occupy the twentieth floor. Shouting at maximum volume is required to maintain minimal audibility between you. You will waste time explaining your situation to someone, even after using the elevator, and then receive a confused reaction.
The real issue here isn't about showing higher advancement or having greater power capabilities. Your perspectives and reality views are different from one another.
Frequency Mismatch:
There is no connection possible when you attempt to match incompatible FM and AM radio channels.
So, What to do?
Accept Differences, Don't Shout:
A small number of people really lack the ability to comprehend your perspective. Your message clarity does not matter because each person views the world from their own unique perspective.
Find Your "Floor" Neighbors:
Connections remain effortless between individuals who share your same understanding without further clarification.
Take the Elevator Occasionally:
Make an effort to experience their worldview if you judge that it will bring any value to you. You might gain unexpected insights.
You should seek dialogue with people who understand you without difficulty when you find you cannot understand someone despite your best attempts.
