In this world of modern sights
Where shadows creep in neon lights
Why is sex addiction on the rise
A burning flame that never dies?
In the chase for fleeting pleasure
Have we lost the timeless treasure?
Of love and trust, of hearts that bind
In lust, our souls seem hard to find.
In screens and scenes, it’s glorified
In endless streams, it’s magnified
But in the night, when all is still
Do we feel a deeper thrill?
Do we see the broken hearts
Left in the wake of these quick starts?
The empty eyes, the silent cries
The longing for what never ties?
We seek to fill a void inside
With fleeting moments, we confide
Yet in this race, we often miss
The gentle touch, the tender kiss.

Why do we glorify the fleeting thrill
While ignoring the heart’s deep will?
Is the chase for pleasure worth the cost
Of love and trust that might be lost?
Can we find a balance, a middle ground
Where true connection can be found?
What drives this endless quest for more
While leaving hearts broken, sore?
Do we listen to the silent pleas
Of souls who long for love’s sweet ease?
Can we teach the young to see
The difference between lust and intimacy?
How do we heal the wounds inside
From chasing dreams where love has died?
In this modern world, so fast and bright
Can we find a guiding light?
To show the way to hearts anew
Where love is deep, and pure, and true.
