Take all those tangled thoughts and wild feelings,
Put them in a structure, or don’t-
Make them rhyme, or don’t-
Just pour them out onto that blank page.
Share it, or don’t-
Publish it, or don’t-
Burn it, or don’t-
Just give them words, give them breath, give them space,
And maybe – just maybe – they’ll start to ease.

This poem definitely captures the chaos of writing, especially when you're on the first draft.
The poem is concise yet powerful, conveying the therapeutic nature of putting thoughts onto a page. Its simplicity allows the message to resonate clearly with anyone who writes or creates.
This was so deep, so true, and so relatable. I freaking loved it!
Fabulous work Kelsey! 💪🏾🌸
Poetry starts from all these tangled thoughts. And to reference Taylor, it helps us to Shake It Off!
Poetry. I find, takes turns and swirls from places in our souls that we didn't know existed. They have a life of their own.
Very good Kelsey! All those tangled thoughts and wild feelings are the basis for many great poems!
Exactly! It's like a way to vent, to process, to analyse. I totally get this!
