Why I want you to see how I am doing without you.
A poem to your ex.
Maybe there is always gonna be
the thought
that I want you to see
how successful I am without you.
But maybe that is
because there is always gonna be something.
Not a something of love.
Not a something of regret.
Not a something of wanting you back.
But a something of
you never even knew who you had next to you.
A something of
you didn‘t even see who was standing right next to you.
Maybe that‘s why I want you to see.
Maybe because I didn‘t even see.
But now I do.
And that is why I want you to see.
