Why I don't miss breakfast

I cannot help but stop and look at the new lunchbox.

Now unaccustomed is just the thing,

To get me wondering if the lunchbox is revolutionary.

I cannot help but stop and look at the sugared oatmeal.

Does the oatmeal make you shiver?

does it?

Pay attention to the morning,

the morning is the most wooly time of day of all.

Down, down, down into the darkness of the morning,

Gently it goes - the woolly, the wooly-minded, the flocculent.

The fat soup sings like a chicken fragrance

Now abdominous is just the thing,

To get me wondering if the soup is rotund.

I saw the the night meal of my generation destroyed,

How I mourned the buffet.

Never forget the dark and nighttime buffet.

One afternoon I said to myself,

"Why aren't lunches more unwholesome?"

Down, down, down into the darkness of the lunches,

Gently they go - the nutritive, the substantial, the unwholesome
