Why don’t more dresses have pockets?

Pockets are amazing! Genius

in their simplicity - A scrap

of fabric stitched becomes

a feat of practicality.

And yet so many frocks are fashioned

without these wondrous widgets, when

Every woman in the world

needs them just as much as men.

I’m forced to buy a bag because

designs decline developing views;

I think it’s time to add to dresses

these gosh-darn nifty reticules!

Yes, I like a pretty dress but

No, I don’t have a lot of things

to carry, yet my only option

is pricey purse to bring!

So, come on, enough’s enough!

Give us women what we need -

A sewn-in place to pop our bits

And pieces; it can be achieved!
