Whose Words

A poem

By Craig RosePublished 3 years ago 1 min read
morning

Whose words comfort sweetly?

When mornings they meet me

With patience, and promise, so kind

While dreams disappearing

With sleep still endearing

His words oh so gentle remind

Of grace and of mercy

Of love which he loves me

Of goodness and will to forgive

Of never forsaking

Of gift for the taking

In His Peace forever I live

His Words alive in me

Arise and are with me

Each moment of each passing day

The Comforter calling

To keep me from falling

And catch me whenever I stray

His Spirit is holy

His Words filled with glory

He lives in my soul joyfully

He wrote the Word dearly

Upon me sincerely

So, new mercies each morning comfort me.
