Who dared pull you out of my being?
Who peered at that dim thing?
Behind the shimmering layers of your Eyes?
Through them all my lies dies in open skies
Was it a childish longing—to make you mine?
Or will it be imprisoned in the lust of my youth?
Before my fall— your laughter, your giggles, and that first smile’s majestic shine
Oh! what a sin— those promises, a burden of truth
Your company ignited my journey, in a world still nascent
Your tears are draining my spirit vacant
Where butterflies dance on roses- you stand magnificent
Tell me, whose love is innocent?
The sweetest chaos trapped in my heart
Something hides under your down lashes
Is this your Sacred art?
The silence was haunting; it left all things in ashes
Wherever your finger used to wander, it was a call to thrill—
My vision was captive in your hold so still
When you dreamt only in your sleep
I still remember that land of blossoms and peace so deep
Where bees sang and sipped flowers' nectar- you stand magnificent
Your company ignited my journey, in a world still nascent
But why present is not so pleasant
Tell me, whose love is innocent?
Remember the wondrous grasp of your little palm
No longer clutching toffees, berries, and candy cane?
The golden sparrow in your bag is your lucky charm
Please don’t take little pauses...I will run after you to steal them again
We drift toward strange desires ever so gently
How lonely is your heart and walk silently?
Why does the piggy bank of your remains empty
And...and you know that you were so testy?
To stand with you in every chaos, what a venture
How tender were your rules in that raw age
Where have you imprisoned that admirer of adventure?
Where is that time lost— who lies within that cage?
